Description:

This trip is designed to foster a deeper connection with nature, learn outdoor skills, and develop teamwork and leadership skills in a supportive environment. Students will learn the basics of camping, including setting up tents, cooking outdoors, and practicing Leave No Trace principles. The highlight of the trip is hiking the Skyline Trail, where students will experience the diverse ecosystems and breathtaking vistas that make Mount Rainier National Park a natural treasure.

What to Bring:

A detailed packing list will be provided upon registration. Essential items include:

  • Sturdy hiking shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing (layers!)
  • Sleeping bag and sleeping pad
  • Daypack
  • Water bottle
  • Cup, bowl and spoon
  • Hat, sunscreen, and sunglasses

The release liability form should be completed before the trip.  Please bring the paper copy to the EE office.
