Tuition & Financial Aid
For the 2025-26 school year, tuition is $48,489. For a full list of associated costs, please click here.
The Overlake School is dedicated to helping families afford this educational choice. To that end, we have several different payment options and a financial aid program for those who qualify. Our community's strength depends upon our ability to attract a student body from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds. Overlake is committed to enrolling those students who have shown achievement and promise in scholarship, leadership, and character, regardless of financial need.
Financial Aid
Current or prospective families who may need financial assistance to attend Overlake are encouraged to submit a financial aid application through Clarity.
The deadline for financial aid for the 2025-26 application is February 5, 2026
The Clarity financial aid application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. You are free to save your progress and return at any time.
Overlake's financial aid is based entirely on financial need. We do not offer financial aid grants for merit or athletics.
We use Clarity to assist in the financial aid process to determine a family's level of financial need based on the information shared, including assets, income, expenses, and debts.
Once the application is complete, you will need to pay a $60 fee to submit the application. A fee waiver is automatically applied for families who qualify for the waiver.
If you are unable to complete your full financial aid application by the deadline, you will need to submit last year's tax documents in order for Overlake to provide an initial provisional financial aid offer.
Financial aid at Overlake will assist the following school-related costs:
- Tuition
- Breakfast, lunch and snacks
- Project Week
- Books
- One-time facilities fee
- Laptop
- Transportation (optional)
Parent Income Ranges | % of Recipients | Avg Tuition Grant |
---|---|---|
$0-50,000 | 16% | $45,870 |
$50,000-100,000 | 31% | $44,999 |
$100,000-250,000 | 33% | $34,521 |
$250,000-407,000 | 20% | $27,546 |
Barring any major changes to your family's financial situation, our commitment will roughly be at the same level. All families on financial aid are required to reapply every year to ensure we are providing an appropriate level of support.
