Congratulations to our National Merit Scholar honorees

Congratulations to the following Overlake students recently recognized by the National Merit Scholarship program. Overlake Class of 2026 has a total of 43 National Merit Semifinalists and Commended Scholars! This is the largest amount of Overlake students ever honored.
There were over 1.3 million students at 21,000 high schools across the country that took the PSAT to qualify for consideration.
To become a National Merit Finalist, a Semifinalist must complete a lengthy application including a school recommendation and submit an SAT or ACT Score. All National Merit Finalists will be announced in February.
The nationwide pool of National Merit Semifinalists represents less than 1% of all high school seniors in the United States.
