In this US Stand Up Paddleboarding class/trip you will learn from a Salmon Bay Paddle coach paddleboarding skills at Bowman Bay in Deception Pass. 

Activities will include:

• Welcome and introduction to Bowman Bay
• On the ground:  paddle "school" - PFD, paddle strokes, etc.
• Prepare board for departure: stowing gear securely, and ensuring it is balanced.
• On the water: paddling maneuvers: to be performed with appropriate and efficient strokes, while maintaining the trim and balance of the board.

We will explore Deception Island and then go to Rosario Beach to explore the tide pools and have lunch, We will then head back to Bowman’s Bay.

We will meet at North Campus at 7:30 am and return to Overlake at 5:00 pm.
