Kayaking

Diablo Lake is a beautiful spot in the North Cascades. The paddling is moderate, but the views are spectacular as we will go under waterfalls and get views of the Cascade peaks on a clear day. Look forward to the benefits of carrying deluxe meals on this trip.

Trailwork

Here is a chance to make a real difference on some of the local hiking trails.  We will spend two days working on trails, building and maintaining trails up the popular Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River.  We will be linking up with a local organization (Mountains to Sound Greenway).  We will al

backpacking
7th/8th Backpacking the Cascades

Spend the week in the great outdoors, as we learn outdoor education skills and plan and then go on a backpacking trip in the Cascades.

For all Summer trips the grade level is the grade you will be entering in the Fall. Please sign up accordingly.

St. Helen's
Mt. St. Helen's Climb

9, 10, 11, 12

Annual summer tradition continues to the top of Mt. St. Helen's!  This trip is dependent on getting climbing permits.

On Monday, we will drive down to Mt. St. Helen's, shop for food, and hike through the Ape Caves.  We will then set up our camp.

Mt. Rainier
US Mt. Rainier hike to Camp Muir

9, 10, 11, 12

We will spend three days down at Mount Rainier, culminating with a hike up to Camp Muir.

 

Exploring
