GPS Coming to Overlake Buses

Overlake's bus fleet has grown over the summer by several new rigs and the focus of consumer satisfaction has shifted into high gear.

Bill Neil, Overlake's Transportation Director has not only spiffed up the new fleet, making sure the buses are cleaned, inspected and ready to go, but he's also installed GPS systems on each one.

"We want to bring value to our parents and address any concerns they may have with buses running late or stuck in traffic," explains Neil. 

The GPS system will allow parents whose students travel on either the morning, afternoon or activity buses to see real time via an app just where the bus is.

"Right now we are in the beta testing phase of this but hope to roll this out to families by the end of September," says Neil.
