Booktalks!

Even when students can't access the physical library, we are doing our best to keep them connected to books. We have been purchasing many books on Overdrive (use the SORA app), doing curbside pickup, and Rebecca and Andrea have been doing lots of booktalks for 5th, 6th, and now 7th grade! The photo is Rebecca in the library where she does her booktalks, surrounded by books for all three grades. She has also posted twenty new video booktalks on Padlet, with many thanks thanks to Dave Chudzik for uploading the videos to Overlake's YouTube. The booktalks are divided by genre, and include a recommended grade range.
