At Overlake, our students don't tinker, they solve problems using evidence-based design thinking principles that utilize creativity and collaboration. In the IDEA Lab, ideas take flight. Students design with purpose and a goal in mind. Upper School students dig into the Design Thinking process during classes and Middle School students spend dedicated time every year practicing and learning about the Design Thinking process. 

Inside our IDEA Lab, students work in partnership with faculty who foster problem-solving techniques that serve as transformational skills useful in the classrooms of today and the conference rooms of tomorrow.
