Jenni Jenni Baldwin Director of Alumni Engagement

Welcome back to the nest, Owls!

It is a true honor and joy to serve as your Director of Alumni Engagement. During my many years teaching in Overlake’s English Department, one of the most rewarding aspects of my work was connecting with my students, their families, and my colleagues. In this role, I am excited to continue fostering those relationships and to ensure all former Owls feel valued and remain connected to our vibrant community.

Alumni engagement thrives through connection – and one of the best ways to connect is at events. From happy hours and networking gatherings to bowling nights, mini golf outings, and reunions, there’s always something fun on the horizon! It’s a joy to see alumni not only connect with each other, but also with current and former faculty, staff, advisors, teachers, and coaches who are always eager to attend alumni gatherings. Check out our alumni event calendar. I hope to see you at an upcoming alumni event soon!

In addition to hosting events, I work closely with our Alumni Board, Development Team, senior class (our rising alumni) and their advisors, and departments across campus, especially Athletics, Arts, College Counseling, and Experiential Education. Together, we create robust opportunities for alumni-to-alumni and alumni-to-student connections, communications, programming, and recognition.

As the school year swings into motion, life has returned to Overlake’s campus, which is buzzing with student energy and activity. All the nostalgia that comes with that back-to-school spirit fills the air and brings a smile to my face. While there is Owl-ways something to celebrate, our campus is shining brighter than ever with the addition of our incredible new Student & Community Center, a magnificent space that simultaneously elevates the entrance to the school and also fits the landscape as if it’s always belonged here. If you live in the area or are in town for a visit, I encourage you to pop by campus and experience it for yourself!

Hoot hoot!
