1. Overlake Does Not Sell Personal Information
Overlake does not and will not sell personal information, including student, parent/guardian, alumni, donor, or employee information.
We do not exchange personal information for money, marketing benefits, or commercial gain.
Any information collected is used solely to support:
Educational programs and student well-being
Admissions and enrollment processes
Institutional operations
Safety and security
Technological and administrative functions
2. When Information May Be Shared
Consistent with our handbooks, information may be shared only:
With trusted service providers supporting school operations (under confidentiality obligations)
When required by law
To protect the safety, rights, or integrity of our community
We do not allow third parties to reuse or resell data for unrelated purposes.
3. Your Rights & Requests
Although Overlake does not sell data, you may request to:
Confirm that your information is not sold
Know how your information is used
Request correction or deletion when permissible
Ask questions about data handling
Some records, particularly student educational records, must be retained under school policy or law and cannot be deleted.
