Upper School Graduation Requirements

  • 3 credits of core mathematics courses: Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Precalculus, Calculus, AP Calculus AB, or AP Calculus BC
History 3 credits
  • World History 9
  • World History 10
  • US History
Science 3 credits
  • Biological and Chemical Systems I
  • Biological and Chemical Systems II
  • Physics (can be taken in either the junior or senior year)
Foreign Language 2-4 credits
  • 3 credits of 1 language or
  • 2 credits each of 2 languages or
  • 2 credits of languages including the completion of Level IV
Fine Arts 2 credits
  • 4 semesters of Performing or Visual Art electives
  • Courses must be from at least two of the categories (visual art, music, or theater)
Physical Education & Health 2 credits
  • Lifeskills (Health) and
  • Comprehensive PE or Conditioning
  • 2 semesters of PE electives
  • Athletics for PE Credit may fulfill .5 credit of PE (see course description on PE Curriculum for details)
