Students Celebrate Another Year of Learning and Fun

last day

The 2017-18 school year has officially wrapped with the traditional Overlake sendoff in the Gym with all student, faculty and staff, followed by ice cream outdoors. This year's closing ceremonies were a bit different though as Head of School, Matt Horvat talked about the school's 50th year and all the many activities we had to honor that anniversary.

To cap off the 50th year, a time capsule has been created and students, faculty and staff have been adding mementoes to it. (More on that in our last Overlake News edition next week.)

For now, students had the chance to say goodbye to another school year and hello to summer.
