Winter Driving Reminders
As the days grow shorter in regard to daylight hours, many of us are driving to and from school when it is still dark outside. Please keep in mind that dark and rainy weather can make it particularly challenging to spot people walking around our campus- so drive slowly please.
Parking is always challenging on campus, and while no one likes to walk a long way in the rain, sometimes a parking spot may be located further than you wish. Parking in the upper lot is a shared spot for our faculty, students as well as visiting parents. Try and pull up as far into a spot as possible to allow traffic to navigate through for drop off. If you’re not planning on staying on campus after drop off, please keep moving to allow a parking spot for someone else.
You may have noticed new red stop signs along the hairpin bend in the road as well as near the mailboxes at the gates. These are to allow buses the ability to turn through the curves in the road while keeping on the roadway. If you see a bus coming toward you, please try and stop by the stop signs to allow them easier navigation to pass.
