Summer Fun

Summer has been fantastic! Time flies when you’re having fun, and campers and counselors are already heading into the final week of camp! Summer Camp is a great time to explore new things and make new friends and our campers have been doing just that. 

“One of my favorite parts of the summer has been seeing campers discover new interests and build confidence trying something completely new. Whether it's learning to climb, writing a story they're proud of, creating artwork, performing on stage, engineering a project, or making new friends, it's been wonderful watching campers leave each day excited to come back the next morning. We've also welcomed families from all over the Seattle area, as well as many visiting from other states and even other countries, which has made for a fun and diverse camp community.”

Summer by the Numbers

• 103 camps offered over our 7-week summer program
• 1,276 camper registrations
• More than 25 camps filled to 100% capacity (or beyond!)
• 43 Overlake student volunteers generously gave their time throughout the summer
• 27 counselors, including current Overlake seniors, alumni, and local college students, helped create an amazing experience for our campers
