Summer Fun Reading 20256
“Our favorite stories are ones we want to roll around in and not come out of for a long, long time.” –Virginia Euwer Wolff
It's summer (almost)! We at the Library wish you a summer full of fun, relaxation, and reading adventures. To that end, we've put together lists of summer pleasure-reading suggestions for Middle School (grades 5-7), Crossover (grades 7-10), and Upper School/Adult (grades 9-12+). The Middle School and Crossover list are divided into genres, graphic novels, and podcasts! The Upper School/Adult list is divided into Fiction, Nonfiction (an extensive list!), and Graphica.
Of course, you can also always access our general Reading Recommendations page for even more suggestions, and our eBooks through Sora/Overdrive are available to you 24/7. How-to information here. Also, check out our spring Sora eBook promotional video!
"The best moments in reading are when you come across something – a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things – which you had thought special and particular to you. Now here it is, set down by someone else, a person you have never met, someone even who is long dead. And it is as if a hand has come out and taken yours.” ― Alan Bennett, The History Boys
