Book Spine Poetry 2026

Stacks of books whose titles create poems, read top to bottom

The Book Spine Poetry Contest challenges students to stack books so that their titles, read top to bottom, create a poem. Faculty vote on the winners. See the image for the spines, and below for a transcription of the winners. We had a lot of wonderful poets this year!
