Chamber Choir to perform in Festival
The Overlake Chamber Choir has a special opportunity to perform in Seattle Pro Musica’s THE TRAVELER’S SONG concert, along with Skyline High School.
The concert is today, Saturday, February 28 at 7pm
Earlier this week, composer Nilo Alcala came to choir practice to work with Overlake students on his piece, Papanok A Lakitan. He helped them understand the pronunciation intricacies and feelings he was invoking in his piece. All these new tidbits will make their collaborative performance even better as they sing alongside the students from Skyline.
Be sure to get your ticket’s for tonight’s performance.
