Unveiling a new Overlake.org experience
“The new website is PHENOMENAL! I wish I could enroll!”; “Love it!”; “Wow!”
These are just a few of the comments we have received after launching our newly updated overlake.org website last month.
The new site, designed in partnership with Spinx Digital, represents an intentional shift in the way Overlake communicates with its community. “First and foremost, our website is designed for the prospective student and their family to learn more about our beloved school,” explains Susan Messier, Director of Communications & Marketing. “We have audio testimonials of our current students, videos explaining our program, and letters from our School leaders, making overlake.org THE place for interested families to authentically learn what life is like at Overlake.”
In the past, the School’s website was a place for both current and prospective families to learn and engage. Now, current members of the Overlake community go to defined portals, for a curated experience specific to their needs.
“We have separate portals for students, parents/guardians, employees, and alumni, with specific information relative to their needs,” says Jay Heath, Head of Operations & Research. “By separating these audiences, we can have a better user experience for all constituencies.”
The new website ushers in a new brand identity for the School that will disseminate across the rest of the School’s digital and print materials, including digital signage, newsletters, and magazine.
“By launching the new website, we complete the last aspect of the Institutional Identity pillar in the School’s former strategic plan, Coming Together, which launched in 2020 and wrapped up at the end of last school year,” explains Heath. “And, the work is never done - the imagery and storytelling that is front and center on the new website will be our launching pad to further refine Overlake’s identity, and that will carry additional work forward in this school year and next.”
Stay tuned in early 2026 to see all the new changes coming to our digital communications!
