Middle School Lunch Book Club December

The Middle School Lunch Book Club met today to discuss Chris Grabenstein's popular book, Escape From Mr. Lemoncello's Library. Description: "Kyle gets to stay overnight in the new town library, designed by his hero (the famous gamemaker Luigi Lemoncello), with other students but finds that come morning he must work with friends to solve puzzles in order to escape." --Publisher. Since the book is about a library game, the meeting started with students solving a puzzles involving the first lines of books in order to get the secret password that would earn them their cookies. They they talked about the book, and their ideal library, and why they think some of the characters succeeded or failed. A good time was had by all!
