The Hoot: The Middle School Literary Magazine

It's finally here! Throughout the year, middle school students have met twice a month at lunch to view and vote on submissions to The Hoot, the middle school literary magazine. Submissions mostly come from teachers sending in samples of class poetry, essays, artwork, etc., and I'm also always on the lookout for artwork I can photograph and submit to the magazine. This year, out of 337 submissions, we accepted 79 and those have now been published. Students requested magazine copies in advance, but there are a few extra at the library for anyone who forgot!

Acceptances:
