The Overlake School celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2007-08. Located on a beautiful 75 acre site in Redmond, Washington, The Overlake School provides a rigorous college prep program balanced with a commitment to the arts, athletics, outdoor education, community service, diversity and international exchanges. The school serves 520 students grades 5-12 and has a reputation as one of the leading independent schools in the Northwest.

The school currently employs over 100 individuals as teachers, administrators and professional and support staff. All Overlake teachers have bachelor's degrees and two-thirds have master's degrees. Creative freedom, resources for professional development, and administrative support create a lively, intellectually stimulating atmosphere both in and out of the classroom.

The Overlake School does not discriminate in its employment policies on the basis of race, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability or veteran status.

“One of my favorite things about Overlake is that every teacher here is special.”
